Au Revoir ‘Russell and Bromley’ – Bonjour ‘Bistrot Pierre’

A french-themed restaurant chain is set to open in Southport.

OTSNews.co.uk can reveal that ‘Bistrot Pierre’ has struck a deal to take over the former Russell and Bromley building on Lord Street with an official announcement expected in the coming weeks.

Originally named Pierre Victoire, the chain was founded in 1994 in Nottingham by businessmen Robert Beacham and John Whitehead and rebranded as Bistrot Pierre in 1998.

Since then the duo have steadily expanded their business, initially in the Midlands and the most recent restaurant – in Altrincham – launched on Friday, December 2 2016.

CBRE UK Property Management has confirmed that an offer has been made for the building to be leased for ten years, but remained tightlipped about who has made the bid.
