Attempted fraud at phone shop – Liverpool Central

Officers investigating an attempted fraud at Liverpool Central station are today releasing a CCTV image in connection.

At 3pm on 1 November, a man attempted to purchase an iPhone X on a contract at the o2 using an altered debit card and a fake UK driving license.

The transaction was unsuccessful and officers are now making enquiries as part of an investigation.

Officers believe the man shown in this CCTV image has information which could help them investigate.
