Update: Missing Southport Man Richard Cary located in Australia

Richard Cary went missing from his Southport home on Valentine’s Day has turned up safe and well Adelaide in south Australia.

Richard Cary(50) disappeared earlier this month after going on a Saturday bike ride.

Police looking  Manchester Airport and travelling to Australia but then the trail had “gone cold.”

Mr Cary this week contacted his family and told them that he is safe and in Adelaide in south Australia.

A police spokeswoman said: “We are no longer looking for Richard as he has been found safe and well.”

 

Appeal to locate Missing Southport Man Richard Cary 

Merseyside Police are appealing for members of the public to help them find a Southport man who has been missing over the past 48 hours.

Richard Cary has not been seen since Saturday 14 February 2015.

Richard a member of Southport Cycling Club, has been missed by colleagues at work and friends report that his mobile phone has been switched off.

If anyone knows of his whereabouts please contact police in Southport on 101.
