Appeal to locate missing Southport woman

28th November 2018

A Southport woman with dementia has gone missing on her way to see her son.

Police and the family of the woman, known as Mrs Palmer, are growing increasingly concerned for her safety after she disappeared shortly after 10am this morning when she left her regular hairdressers to go and visit her son David Palmer.

She never arrived and has now been missing for 7 hours.

Police have been informed and are conducting preliminary enquires despite the 24 hour threshold not being met.

Patrols are currently travelling through Southport town centre to try and spot her.

Anyone who recognises her or thinks they have spotted her should call Merseyside Police immediately
