CCTV appeal after theft from Southport charity shop

A hotspot of shoplifting has been targeted again with shop owners appealing for help to catch the ‘rats’ who stole from them.

The Or Nearest Offer shop on London Street regularly falls victim to shoplifting and have been struck again after two women worked together to steal a pair of jeans from the shop before making a quick getaway.

Staff at the shop said: “please help us to find out the name of this rat who stole expensive jeans from us today.

She was working with another lady but we can’t put her photo up as she was out of shop.”

Anyone with information should call Merseyside Police in the first instance via 101.


O.N.O Shop opens in Southport

A new O.N.O (Or Nearest Offer) is opening in southport and is raising money for charity. 

“We are now up and running we aim to help the Homeless and also support a local good cause which this year is a local animal sanctuary.”

“We are not a registered charity but our business aim is to help raise funds for local good causes in Southport and the surrounding area.”

Ono shop (or nearest offer) is a New and 2nd hand goods shop including clothes and furniture bric and books etc.

If a customer wishes to make an offer on any item they are encouraged to do so. Each item has a specific price that we can accept, so they say “ If you dont like the price or think we’ve got it wrong please make an offer.
