Appeal after more than £1,000 jewellery stolen from house in Newburgh

POLICE are appealing for information after more than £1,000 of jewellery was taken from a house in Newburgh.

It is thought that the burglary took place sometime between Saturday 22 and Tuesday 25 November at a house on Course Lane, whilst the homeowners were away on holiday.

Items of jewellery taken include a gold diamond bracelet, a white gold and cubic zirconia ‘tennid’ bracelet, a Swarovski ‘Maskerade’ pendant, Swarovski ‘channel set’ bangle and three pairs of drop earrings.

PC Ian Beattie of Skelmersdale Police said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have information about the burglary and we would like to trace these items of jewellery and return them to the rightful owner.”
