North Meols Lawn Tennis Club, which is situated in Mill Lane Crescent, Churchtown PR9 7PF is hosting an Open Afternoon this Sunday 3rd July from 2pm. – 4pm.
Everyone is welcome, from those who have never played tennis before to experienced club players – and of course any budding future stars.
The event is free and is run in conjunction with the Lawn Tennis Association. The Open Sessions offer fun for all the family – including those who fancy trying the game for the first time.
The club coach, Rob McNulty, will be on hand with coaching, advice and tips, as well as organising fun competitions with some great prizes. Tennis rackets will be available to borrow, the bar will be open and refreshments will be available throughout the session. Please park considerately so as not to block the crescent for emergency vehicles.
The sessions are open to everyone, whatever your level of experience or ability. Judith Heaton, Club Chairman, said “Wimbledon is here so time to get tennis motivated! Come along, bring the family and give tennis a try – it might be the start of something big!”
North Meols is one of the area’s leading tennis clubs, with eight all-weather courts, floodlighting and a purpose-built clubhouse. Social and competitive tennis is played all year round and there is a lively social programme for players and non-players alike.
