Anti-social youths moved on by Police

11th July 2020

Police in Southport are asking parents if they know where their children are tonight after a group of youths were moved on from causing anti-social behaviour in Hesketh Bank.

Following reports of a disturbance, police attended playing fields in the leafy village and moved on a group of youths suspected of causing trouble.

It’s understood recreational drugs may have been involved.

Police warned “do you know where your kids are this evening? Do they smell of cannabis when they come home?

“Have they got bloodshot eyes, sweaty top lip? As one of these lads wasn’t looking too good!”
