Hot to trot vintage clothing shop on Market Street Southport has now closed and will be only trading online in the future.
Owner Sara said: “I am sad to close the Market Street store, but the high rates, low footfall I feel that Southport has died a death. Young shoppers take trips to Liverpool, Manchester or buy online these days.
Southport has changed so much over the years closing many shops, therefore not bringing people to the town and turning more & more locals to online shopping.
I have chosen to carry on the business online and my new online shop will be up and running very soon and welcome old and new customers to shop via www.hottotrotvintage.co.uk
With keeping costs down not paying rent and rates I am hoping it will be a great success. Fashion is my passion and vintage is on the increase with many people wanting to buy and sell vintage clothing and accessories”
