Ainsdale Rail Crossing Closed Until Thursday

Ainsdale rail crossing was closed at 23.30 on Saturday night and will remain closed until 05.00 Thursday 26 February.

Station Road (Ainsdale)

Routes 49 and 711 are affected.

Station Road will be closed, at the level crossing, from 2330 on Saturday 21 February 2015 until 0500 on Thursday 26 February 2015.

Bus diversions are as follows:

Route 49 will travel as normal from Crossens to Mill Lane, then via Segars Lane, Liverpool Avenue, Liverpool Road, Orchard Lane, Sandbrook Road, Meadow Lane, Cherry Road, Woodvale Road, Liverpool Road, Pinfold Lane, Glenagles Drive, Kenilworth Road, Westminster Road, Shore Road, Kenilworth Road, Liverpool Road, Station Road, Segars Lane, then as normal route to Crossens (omitting a section of Station Road).

Route 711 (morning journey) will travel as normal from Woodvale to Kenilworth Road, then via Shore Road, (u-turn at Coastal Road roundabout), Shore Road, Kenilworth Road, Liverpool Road, Segars Lane, Mill Lane, then as normal route to Christ the King School (omitting a section of Shore Road and Station Road).

Route 711 (afternoon journey) will travel as normal from Christ the King School to Mill Road, then via Segars Lane, Liverpool Avenue, Liverpool Road, Kenilworth Road, Shore Road, (u-turn at Coastal Road roundabout), Shore Road, Kenilworth Road, then as normal route to Woodvale Road and terminate (omitting Station Road and a section of Shore Road).
