Ainsdale Beach car park closed after reaching ‘maximum capacity’

Ainsdale Beach car park has reached ‘maximum capacity’ after hundreds of sun-seekers headed to the seaside.

Sefton Council said: “Due to the hot weather, Ainsdale Beach Car Park is at maximum capacity.

“If you’re travelling to the Southport area please find alternative arrangements.

“Anyone thinking of parking in undesignated areas in Formby and Ainsdale should be aware that enforcement officers will be issuing Penalty Charge Notices for vehicles parked on yellow lines, parking dangerously or obstructively.”
