James Soars Media Services are promoting  “A Love Of The Duet” Ben Savage and Hannah Sanders Spring 2016 UK Tour. http://www.hannahsandersfolk.com/

The Duo are doing the show around a single vintage microphone, which is a craft heavy, intimate warm experience.  “We would love for  people to leave our shows feeling uplifted.  We have been told that we are a duo who look and sound classically timeless, yet feel refreshingly unique”.

Fleetingly, they may evoke a memory of Shirley Collins & Davy Graham, (from the 60’s), Gram Parsons & Emmylou Harris (70’s) , or Gillian Welch & David Rawlings (the 90’s).  Hannah & Ben’s warm distilling of influences from both sides of the big pond produces a refined sound that is decidedly their own.

The pair caught the attention of award-winning Canadian producer David Travers-Smith (Ruth Moody, The Wailin’ Jennys, Jason & Pharis Romero), with whom they are making an album due for release in late 2016.  Flying out on the 10th April to Canada to record this album…….

Please find attached, a press release and high res jpeg.

They are playing: Sunday 12th June, Bothy Folk Club, Park Golf Club, Park Road West. Southport, PR9 0JS.

    Doors: 7pm  Tickets: £6.60 Tickets:  bothy@lesliebrown.plus.com   https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/boxoffice/select/ODMGUYNyHGXz
