Radwraps is the new and innovative way to cover radiators with any image or design. This means: no burns, no heat-loss, no screws.

During the first visit there was a talk from Chris Dawson from 6th door limited (www.6thdoor.com) who talked about how to stay positive while running a business, and gave some valuable sales techniques and all round general day-to-day valuable presentation skills. The skills learnt from Chris were put into practice and soon after used to great effect while pitching their ideas to the web developers.  “The web designers at Alloi were extremely helpful, we used our skills learnt from Chris to negotiate a date to launch our project designs.” – Luke McGovern – Maghull high school.

“It is fantastic to see the effort given to this from James and Radwraps. Today’s school pupils are tomorrows entrepreneurs, employers, tax payers and leaders. It is important that the enthusiasm, determination and skill demonstrated by the team from Maghull High is invested in like this and that they are given the chance to show what they are capable of whilst learning from real businesses things that it is not often possible to convey in a classroom environment. Best of luck to you all for the future, from what I have seen it will be bright!”  Chris Dawson  6th Door Ltd

Chris not only gave us his time for free, he is also involved in fund raising for Cancer Research UK and will be hosting a ‘pay what you can’ sales training event on 11th December at the Ramanda Plaza, Southport usually priced at £99 + VAT.

The students also spoke to Business advisor Colin Hickey @ invest Sefton who advised them how to start a business and what help there is out there for them.

All together, they released 12 new designs to the Radwraps website which are available to purchase right now! These designs involve the key subjects in schools such as: Maths, Spanish, German, French, biology, chemistry, physical education, etc.

The students were involved in every part possible to set this category up, from image design to negotiating deadlines including this press release.

“The students have shown an outstanding level of commitment to research, design, launching and marketing an educational branch of Radwraps radiator covers. It has been an aspirational journey for them that has opened doors and shown them just what is possible when you are driven and apply yourself. James Maddocks from Radwraps has been a fantastic mentor for the students who has inspired and motivated them to achieve all they have over the past few weeks’ – Mr. Hains – head of business studies at Maghull high.
