Merseyside Police were called to HOTFOX on Duke Street Southport following 999 call at around 2pm today, Thursday 25 June.

Shop staff raised the alarm when a customer became aggressive and abusive over a disagreement about dress alterations.

Police advised the customer never to return back to the Duke Street shop.

A neighbouring shop worker said:

“I could hear women screaming and shouting, it’s a good job the police came otherwise it may have come to blows”.
