The Mayor and Mayoress of Sefton, Councillor Dave Robinson and his wife Wendy attended the official opening of Athena Health Care Group’s new Hesketh Park Lodge on Albert Road.
They were joined by the company’s chief executive Steven Wylie, the Mayor of Maghull, Councillor June Burns, members of the Veterans’ Association and former Everton FC manager Billy Bingham at the official opening on Thursday, March 1.
Staff at the Athena Health Care Group run the Community Activities Hub, which aims to promote inspirational ideas with activity co-ordinators from care providers from across the region.
Residents are invited to join up for activities that they would like to share with other elderly residents who want to make friends and enjoy day trips out.
