Staff at FOOD N’ GO on Roe Lane were today left shaken after a man ran into the shop screaming ‘call the f****n police they are after me‘, Sunday 23 August 2015.
The man’s face was covered in blood, when the staff looked outside two men were waiting. These two men turned out to be plain clothed officers who had been pursuing man.
A witness said:
“The guy was high on some sort of drugs, officers cuffed him and carried him out into a waiting van”.
