A bag pack at Southport Tesco has raised £1,200 for the local gymnastics club.

Community Champion Lesley Kirkbride helped organised the fundraising bag pack to help the Southport Gymnastics Club – which is desperately searching for vital funding to keep the organisation, based in Ainsdale, going.

Olympic Gymnast Dan Purvis, who trains at the club, was on hand to help shoppers pack their groceries on the day while younger aerobatic maestors also turned their hand to charity in a bid to keep their club going.
