BHF Healthy Heart day and Coffee Morning at Fylde Road pharmacy.
Event organiser, Jonathon Churchill said: “We are holding another healthy heart day at Fylde Road pharmacy on the 23rd June 17 from 10am onwards.
“We raised over £500 last year for the British Heart Foundation and we hope to raise just as much this year”.
“We will host a coffee morning with hot drinks and cakes. But this year, we will also have healthy snacks. As a local community pharmacy, we recognise unhealthy lifestyles can lead to poor heart health, so we want to promoting healthy lifestyles in our local community”.
“We will also be promoting healthy lifestyles by showing customers how reduce their sugar and salt intake and how to make time for exercise”.
“We will also run a tombola with many prizes donated from local businesses. If any local businesses want to donate any prizes, please feel free to do by either ringing the pharmacy on 509509 or just drop them off”.
