The Camping Village offers fantastic facilities including pre-erected tents and a campers’ Clubhouse in a great location. This is a great place to stay during The Open.
Open Championship Camping – How much does it cost?
Free if you purchase a Youth Ticket (16-24) to the event. Adult ticket holders can camp for £40 per person per night with Junior tickets (Under 16’s) also eligible to stay for free with an accompanying adult ticket holder.
Space is limited – we are expecting demand to be high so book now to avoid disappointment.
Open Championship Camping – What are the accommodation options?
Below are the different accommodation options available to book:
Tents
- A quality range of spacious pre-erected tents will be ready upon arrival.
- Each tent comes with a lantern and air mattress.
Book your Under 25’s Youth Ticket (16 – 24) for The 146th Open at Royal Birkdale and you can secure the option to stay at The Open Camping Village for free*. Adult ticket holders can camp for £40 per person per night with Junior tickets (Under 16’s) also eligible to stay for free with an accompanying adult ticket holder.
The site will be located a short distance from the golf course at Victoria Park, Southport making it even easier and affordable for young people to enjoy the full Open experience.
The Camping Village, which will be open from 16 – 23 July, includes two, four and six person tents that are already pitched and ready for campers, plus inflatable camp beds for each guest.
To take advantage of the free camping offer, you need to be under the age of 25 and hold a valid youth ticket for The Open at Royal Birkdale. If you still need to purchase your ticket please click here.
After purchasing your Under 25’s Youth Ticket, you just need to tell us your camping requirements by completing the online Camping Village Registration form below. A member of our team will then be in touch with more information to confirm your camping reservation. With the Camping Village capacity for each night of The Open set at 750 in total and high demand expected, Youth Ticket holders are encouraged to register quickly to avoid disappointment.
