Long traffic delays in Ainsdale

Traffic Jams are causing anarchy in Ainsdale after roadworks close down one lane of busy morning traffic (Friday 19 May).

As cars come off the Formby bypass (A565) into Ainsdale a bottle neck is being created as one lane is shut down for viral carriageway repairs.

Although much needed, the repairs are frustrating drivers who are now facing long delays to get into Southport.

Delays are expected to last all day.
