26-year-old man stabbed and burgled in Segars Lane Ainsdale

The emergency services were called to an address in Segars Lane at around 12.30am this morning, Wednesday 8 July 2015.

 

A 999 call came through to police saying that a 26-year-old man had been stabbed and burgled.  That man also had significant wounds but not life threatening.

A Rolex watch and car keys were stolen, however, the car was not.

At the present time it is believed that four people broke into the Segars Lane address and carried out this attack.

 

Local resident quoted:

“This guy seems really nice, I can’t believe this has happened so close to my family home”.

 

Another quoted:

“We never heard anything, this guy is lucky to be alive.

“I hope they catch the people responsible”
