£10,000 awarded to Hesketh Bank Community Centre

£10,000 has been awarded to the Hesketh Bank Community Centre from the Big Lottery Fund.

The centre’s trustees are celebrating after being successful in bidding for an ‘Awards for All’ grant to progress their ambitious redevelopment plans and to become a community hub for their village.

Steve Kirby, who chairs the small group of volunteers said:

“It’s a real boost to our plans. Receiving this award is a mark of quality of the work we are doing in the community and we would like to thank the Big Lottery Fund and all the players for this recognition and support.”
