Yobs throw brick at Southport Bus full of passengers 

The number 44 bus came under fire from a gang of 3 or 4 youths on bikes along Eastbank Street at around 8.45pm this evening, Wednesday 27 April 2016

A brick was thrown at the window causing it to shatter. The driver pulled over in a safe place on Virginia Street.

He said to our reporter: “The incident happened on Eastbank Street, the window was very close to smashing – It’s lucky no one seriously hurt.

“There was three of four teenagers in dark clothing on bikes, they left at speed on bikes”
