Beales Department Store window smashed by vandals

Yobs have smashed the windows of Beales Department Store on Lord Street, Southport.

Two windows have been smashed causing thousands of pounds in damage. Last week the now closed BHS store on Chapel Street was attacked in a similar attack.

Anyone with information is asked to call Merseyside police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

A Southport Councillor David Barton is calling for along with local businesses a private security firm to patrol the streets to stop this vandalism.
