Women taken to hospital with head injuries in Southport town centre

The emergency services were called to Eastbank Street this evening, Friday 23 October 2015.

A member of the public reported a disturbance outside the Tesco express store. Three police vehicles attended and an ambulance crew treated a female at the scene before taking her to Southport Hospital.

At the moment it is believed that no arrests were made and enquires are ongoing.
