Women and dog rescued from Southport Beach March 14th, 2016 webteam Latest News Shares Comments CALL OUT – 14/03/16 – 13:49 – Southport Quads rescue two women and their dog, cut off by tide North of Southport Pier. With Southport Lifeboat also being launched, the quads reached the casualties at 14:15 and escorted them off the beach at Rainford’s Track, where they were passed on to Southport Coastguard. Within 10 minutes, the point where they were rescued was under the tide and would have needed assistance from the Southport Lifeboat. Well done to all involved.
