The accident involved a man who is confined to a wheelchair. The disabled man had just drove his electric wheelchair up a ramp into his specially adapted Chrysler when a blue coloured Ford Focus ran into the ramp leaving the disabled driver in his vehicle unable to do anything about it. The ramp and electrical wiring was damaged needing specialist repair work. The driver is now off the road! The Focus driver carried on and stopped about 200 yards down the road near Eastbank Street, he got out of his car and checked it for damage, got back in his car and drove off, leaving the disabled driver trapped in his car and in shock.
