Witness appeal after verbal abuse at Liverpool James Street Station May 14th, 2015 Connor_Henderson Latest News Shares Comments British Transport Police has released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to after a member of station staff was verbally abused. Do you recognise this man? The incident occurred on Saturday, 25 April at around 9.45pm. Investigating officer PC Paul Quest said: “A man became abusive to a member of station staff at the barriers in the booking hall after he was refused travel because he was drunk. He swung out his arm at the staff member, who had to duck to avoid contact.” PC Quest added: “We believe the man in the CCTV images could have information that is vital to our enquiries and we urge him or anyone who recognises him to come forward.” Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting reference PSUB/B11 of 14/05/2015.
