He lived a full and happy life and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.” … 53 year old Southport motorcyclist killed in collision with bus in Aughton Police were called to Doctors Bridge, Moss Delph Lane in Aughton at around 5:45am this morning (Thursday 16th July, 2015) when a 53 year old motorcyclist was involved in a fatal collision with a bus. Both an ambulance fire engine attended the scene, the man was pronounced dead at the scene and there were no other injuries sustained. S 3105 Adam Dawson of the Roads Policing Unit said: “Specialist officers are supporting the family at this difficult time and I would urge anyone with information who may have seen a black motorbike in the area prior to the incident to get in touch. “An investigation is underway to establish exactly how the collision came to occur.” Anyone with information about the incident should contact police on 101 quoting log number 135 of July 16th.
