Officers from Merseyside Police executed a warrant at a flat above Blockbuster furniture on Shakespeare Street, Southport, 10:45am, Friday 13 November 2015.
Officers gained entry using a whizzer saw, members of the public reported an officer leaving the premises with a large knife and an iron bar.
The investigation is on-going, OTSnews will have an update later.
