The weight of a wagon has caused part of Lyndhurst Road to collapse this afternoon, Thursday 7 April.

A quick thinking local driving instructor averted a potential accident by putting cones around what is thought to be a collapsed drain.

Amanda noticed the hole appear when a large wagon moved off from the kerb at 2pm this afternoon. She also notified Sefton Council that have since erected fencing around the hole.
