Royal Mail delivery truck involved in bypass crash

The emergency services were called to the traffic lights of Liverpool Road and the Formby bypass (Monday 3 April 2017).

A Post Office delivery wagon and a Jaguar had collided at the junction at around 2pm.

The driver of the car was cut free by the fire service and taken to hospital.

The condition of the delivery driver is not thought to be serious.

Delays are expected until both vehicles are recovered from the scene.
