URGENT WARNING Mamas & Papas car seats recalled and parents told to stop using them ‘immediately’ over crash fail fears

6th December 2016

An urgent safety recall has been issued for three different types of Mamas & Papas car seats.

Parents have been told to ‘immediately’ stop using the seats because there is a risk that the plastic could crack and fail in a crash.

The alert follows another recall by the same brand earlier this year for other seats sold through Argos.

Mamas & Papas said there have been no incidents of children being hurt as a result of using the car seat at the centre of the recall.

The Mamas and Papas Nembus, Mamas and Papas Aureus and the Mamas and Papas Altair, all multi-group 1/2/3 car seats, were sold via Asda, Tesco Direct and some independents as well as via the Mamas & Papas website and factory stores.
