UKIP North West MEP and Health Spokeswoman Louise Bours has admitted she has no experience whatsoever in her brief. In an interview with the Independent newspaper, she is candid about her ignorance of her brief.

“ I have no experience in health whatsoever,” she said.

Mother-of-two Ms Bours is  a former actress and town councillor in Cheshire. She was chosen to be the party’s national health spokeswoman last summer. Having been a relative unknown among the UKIP ranks, she was projected into the national spotlight when Nigel Farage told the BBC that the idea of replacing the NHS with an insurance-based system was “a debate that we’re all going to have to return to,” which made many question whether UKIP was wishing to privatise the NHS completely.
