Train cancellations between Southport Wigan Wallgate

Due to signalling problems between Wigan Wallgate and Southport all lines are blocked. Impact: Train services running to and from these stations will be cancelled or delayed by up to 45 minutes.

Disruption is expected until 16:45 30/08. Customer Advice: A present no trains can run between Wigan Wallgate and Southport due to a power failure. Road Transport will arrive at Southport at 15:50 and 16:25 stations to Wigan Road Transport will arrive at Wigan Wallgate at 16:10 and 16:15 stations to Southport Further info We are very sorry for the delay this will cause to your journey.
