3rd August 2015

Overnight work to adjust road markings and road signs at the A5036 Bridge Road roundabout at Litherland in Merseyside will start tonight (Monday 3 August).

The low noise activities will be taking place between 8.30pm and 6am for 5 nights with completion on Saturday morning (8 August).

Lanes at the roundabout maybe closed from time to time and drivers are advised to approach the road works with extra care.

Drivers setting out on journeys can check travel conditions before setting out on journeys. Highways England provides live traffic information via its website www.trafficengland.com, local and national radio travel bulletins, electronic road signs and mobile platforms, such as the iPhone.  Information is also available from Twitter via @highwaysNWEST as well as services in other regions.

Providing they can do so safely, road users can also call the Highways England customer contact centre on 0300 123 5000 to keep up to date with road conditions.
