Police are appealing for witnesses to the theft of a Quad Bike and a Motorcycle from the buildings at FMC Recovery shortly before midnight on 21st July 2015.

The thieves gained access via external fencing and then cut locks on various gates and shutters with battery operated saws to remove the items.

The Motorcycle was found a short time later hidden locally and the Quad was seen passing through the Ainsdale area soon after.

There were a number of males involved wearing dark clothing and a late model dark coloured Audi A3 was seen to be in the vicinity of Crowland Street and Ainsdale at the same times.

The Quad is described as a large expensive road legal vehicle, quite noisy.

CCTV from the area has yielded good results but we are asking for corroborating sightings to this theft or of the Quad being driven late at night.

Any information please contact us in total confidence or the Police on 101 or Southport Station direct on 0151 777 3442
