Energy Projects Plus, together with the Merseyside local authorities are organising the second collective switch for Merseyside. The Switch Together, Save Together scheme aims to reduce people’s energy bills by using collective buying power to negotiate cheaper tariffs from energy suppliers. Householders are invited to register their interest by 10 March 2014 and there is no obligation to switch. Over 4,600 people took part in the last Merseyside Collective Switch which saved residents a total of £76,435 a year on their energy bills. The average saving was £110 a year.
