There was a lot of commotion in Hesketh Park yesterday when Southport residents David Jackson and Lee Murphy leaped into Hesketh Park Lake in broad daylight and in wintery conditions, once out of the murky lake they proceeded to down a can of beer each and then nominate other friends to take on the challenge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_ZdsL1N-aY Other people in Southport decided to follow suit, but rather than leap into the lake they decided to take a more conservative and safe method of the challenge, one being Scott Chadwick. Scott, in the comfort of his own home decided to dress up as a buxom lady and drink a pint of beer before nominating other friends to also take part. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOkjbojNhvM One more NekNomination raised many eyebrows was Jay Hawkes, who did his challenge at the back of Southport Police Station. He stood between several police cars and vans, downed his drink and then challenged his pals to join in the fun and games. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-IREbrX4AI Picture above courtesy of BBC Submit News Contact us with your community, business or sport news.
