The award winning ‘The Fitness Lab‘ Gym in Birkdale Village, Southport will hosting an all-nighter with gym buddies pushing themselves to the limit through a gruelling 24-hour workout session to raise funds for Queenscourt Hospice. Over forty people have volunteered to take the challenge where they will push and pull the Prowler sled in relay starting at 6pm this evening, Friday November 4 2016. A DJ will be pumping out tunes tonight and a bar menu will be available to anyone wanting to show support. Jame’s original target was to raise £1,000, however a staggering £3,000 has already been donated through his uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fitnesslab donation page. Queenscourt Hospice provide sservices for patients with serious illnesses, offering 24/7 in house care to its residents as well as a home visits service for less mobile patients. The hospice employs over 100 staff from doctors and healthcare assistants to physiotherapists and nurses.
