Get ready for a party as Town’s favourite show, the legendary That’ll Be The Day rocks into town this Summer with their brand new production for 2013!!

Nostalgia, music and comedy top the bill when THAT’LL BE THE DAY plays at The SOUTHPORT THEATRE  on Saturday 24th August, 7.30pm

THAT’LL BE THE DAY is all about nostalgia, reflecting the music and tone of an era that changed the course of music history and youth culture forever. The show was established on the cabaret circuit in the late 1980’s and began playing regional theatres in the early 1990’s.

Having delighted audiences throughout the UK for over two decades, ‘That’ll Be The Day’ is back on the road this autumn thrilling audiences with the most popular feel-good comedy routines and favourite hits from the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s.

Despite performing as many as 230 shows a year to capacity audiences across the UK, Trevor Payne who wrote and created the show back in 1987 and still directs, produces and stars in the production today rewrites the show every year. Over six months is taken in planning and preparation, culminating in a month of intensive rehearsals before the show once again takes to the road with its new offering every year.

We can’t wait to bring the new show to Town in the Summer! This time it’s better than ever!”Trevor Payne

That’ll Be The Day is renowned for its work with worthy causes such as BT Childline amongst many others and most recently have raised over £100,000 for the show’s chosen charity Help For Heroes, the organisation set up for British soldiers wounded serving their country.

‘It’s an honour to work with Help For Heroes and support the continued efforts of the Servicemen and Women of this country.’  – Trevor Payne
