A teenage cyclist was struck by a car at the junction of Portland Street and Cemetery Road this evening at approximately 10pm, Friday 27 March.
One ambulance and one police vehicle attended the incident where they treated the teen for injuries sustained in the collision.
A witness at the scene quoted:
“The teenage boy was struck by a car causing the window screen to shatter on impact, I do hope he makes a speedy recovery”.
An investigation into the incident is on going.
