Surface dressing causing log jam in and out of Southport

The north end of Southport is currently at a standstill due to surface dressing work on Preston New Road

Jamie April quoted:

“Traffic has literally stopped moving on the way into Southport. We’ve been sitting in this line for 30 minutes and haven’t even reached Banks yet!

“We need an ice cream truck out here”

Louise from Entwistle Green said:

“My staff have been stuck in traffic entering Banks for over an hour”
