Success at the FACT Young Persons Film Awards November 16th, 2012 admin Latest News Shares Comments Daniel Cannon, a second year student on our Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production, has won the Best Direction award at this year’s FACT Young Persons Film Awards. Daniel was given a summer project to make a film in one day. So during half term he set about making a film called Homeless about a homeless teenager who is granted his one true wish. Daniel then entered his film into the Awards and beat off some stiff competition to take the title of Best Direction at the awards ceremony, held on in Liverpool. Both tutor Adam Cain and Course Leader Yvette Wheddon are thrilled that one of their students has won such a prestigious award. Well done Daniel!
