Street Collection for Galloway’s Society for the Blind raises a fantastic £534.11 August 5th, 2013 admin Latest News Shares Comments Volunteers and friends of Galloway’s Society for the Blind held a street collection in Southport on Friday 2nd August and collected a fantastic £534.11 Local fundraiser for the charity, Emma Wilson said “It was a lovely sunny day to be out collecting and the amount of public support and praise we got was amazing. We would like to thank Sefton Council for allowing us to hold the collection, our volunteers for giving up their valuable time and everyone who contributed to this wonderful total. Galloway’s Southport centre is based on Wright Street and runs a drop in advice and equipment centre on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays or by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We also run a wide range of activities, sports and guided trips on a regular basis. If you know someone who could benefit from our services please contact 01704 534555.
