St John’s Church Birkdale tenth anniversary of it’s annual Christmas Tree Festival and Christmas Market

St John’s Church in Birkdale will be celebrating the tenth anniversary of it’s annual Christmas Tree Festival and Christmas Market on Friday (December 2)  from 6pm.

A spokesperson for the church said: “This spectacular event sponsors over 30 Christmas Trees on display throughout the church each year, and has helped several charities benefit by the support and donations from the many visitors who have attended over the last 10 years.

“The Christmas Market will host many stalls – including a delightful cafe serving warm, home-made food and drinks; cake stall with home made cakes and preserves; tombolla; raffle, Christmas gifts and cards; crafts; bottle stall and not forgetting lots of activities for the children to enjoy!

“Why not finish your visit with a glass of mulled punch and a mince pie – sounds delicious!

“Do come along and spend some time either browsing or shopping – or just chilling out with something to eat – you will receive a very warm welcome.”
