Special Treat for Mum at WWT Martin Mere this Mother’s Day

Enjoy a three-course lunch in our cafe overlooking Swan Lake this Mother’s Day at WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre and receive FREE entry for mum with a free boat trip included.

In addition to a delicious three-course lunch, mum’s can enjoy a free peaceful guided boat tour watching wildlife, spotting dragonflies, listening for warblers and admiring the wild flowers. Entry to Martin Mere is also free of charge for mums who have booked and paid for the three-course lunch.

Whether it’s a surprise or a planned day out, your mum will enjoy a mouth watering meal that includes slow braised featherblade steak with homemade gravy, courgette-potato & cheddar soup and chocolate mousse served with homemade ginger shortbread biscuits. Our childs menu includes red tractor sausage, goat cheese tarts and scampi.

The lunch is £19.99 per person (£6.50 for a child’s main meal) and additional boat trip places can be booked at £3 each, providing fun for all the family.

Before or after your lunch visit our family of otters: Ned, Thai, Penny, Flick and Belle as they are given their daily feeds at 11.30am and 2.30pm where you can watch them play and eat. See the fantastic sight and hear the haunting noise of up to 1000 whooper swans as they are fed daily on the Mere at 3pm from Swan Link hide and 3.30pm from the heated Raines Observatory which includes a warden’s talk.

Meals and boat trip places must be booked and paid for before Monday 9 March, please call 01704 895181 (Monday to Friday). Visit www.wwt.org.uk/martinmere to view the full menu.
