Spanish man found dead in Southport

Police were called to an address on The Promenade on February 21, following contact from the Spanish authorities about the whereabouts of Ricardo Aurelio Villanueva Gil, aged 46.

A Spanish farm worker has been found dead in his flat on the Promenade. The family of Ricardo Villanueva Aurelio Gil became concerned for his welfare after not hearing from him for over two weeks.

They contacted police who found the body on Sunday lunchtime. The are no suspicious circumstances. The family have suggested that he was suffering from hypertension.
