Southport’s overgrown roundabout a ‘considerable risk’

People living in the area of town say that plants on the roundabout have not been cut back all year, even the paid advert signs are barely visible.

Chris Blundell said: “They are an absolute disgrace”

Another resident added “It’s only a matter of time before an accident happens due to the lack of visibility with the overgrown grass and weeds”

“Council taxes have increased but the standard of service has dropped”

Does this give a good impression to visitors to the town?”

OTSNews.co.uk approached Sefton Council but they have declined to comment on the issue.
