Rigby pleaded guilty to stabbing 28-year-old Daniel Graginsky on Lord Street, Southport on December 11th 2013. Rigby denied prosecution claims that the attack was racially motivated and the Crown decided not to proceed with that case. Graginsky suffered a punctured lung and spleen during the attack.
